It is designed as an integrated, sustainable agricultural system combining advanced technologies with regenerative farming practices, resilient infrastructure, and responsible land management. The initiative will focus on the cultivation of cereals alongside potentially legumes, as well as an industrial plant, ensuring long-term agricultural productivity in a challenging environmental context.
The initiative is focused on the integrated development of agricultural production and food processing facilities and represents a virtuous model of public–private cooperation capable of strengthening local value chains and promoting skilled employment. The project will be developed in multiple phases in the Timimoun region, specifically in the Timimoun Elkabir area, with the aim of establishing an integrated seed-to-finished-product supply chain in Algeria.
The initiative is expected to result in the production destined for the local market, with an estimated positive impact on around 600,000 beneficiaries.
